Overview

Made by hand

These are made in Mexico by leather artisans, from 100% suede. That is not a marketing note — it is why the fit and the closure work the way they do, and why they are not stamped out of a synthetic sheet.

The design

Four things separate a crack glove that works from one that does not:

  • A 3D pattern that covers the part of the hand actually loaded in a jam, not a flat panel that bunches where you need contact
  • Thumb protection, which plenty of gloves leave out and every offwidth reminds you about
  • Wet grip — they hold when damp, so you can wipe sweat on them without ruining the pitch
  • The closure, a Stonecrag design that does not come undone unintentionally and does not sit where it interferes with jamming

They are thin, durable and resistant — three things usually traded against each other.

Sizing

Measure the circumference of your hand around the knuckles, thumb excluded.

SizeMeasurement
XS16.5 – 18.5 cm
S18.5 – 20 cm
M20 – 21.5 cm
L21.5 – 23 cm
XL23 – 25 cm

On a boundary between two sizes, take the smaller one. Suede gives with use; loose gloves roll in the crack.

Frequently asked questions

How do I choose my size?

Measure the circumference of your hand around the knuckles, excluding the thumb, and match it to the size chart below. If you fall on a boundary, size down — suede gives.

Do they work when wet?

Yes. They keep their grip wet, which means you can dry sweat off your hands on them mid-pitch without losing performance.

Are they thick enough to protect and thin enough to feel?

That is the whole design brief. Thin suede with a 3D pattern placed where the hand actually contacts rock in a jam.
