Overview
The idea
You already carry trekking poles on the approach. They are already telescopic. The only thing standing between them and a stick clip is the part that holds the quickdraw — so that is the only part this product is.
What it does
Made from solid TPU rubber, which is what gives it durability and impact resistance where a printed plastic part would crack the first time the pole tips over on rock.
It holds the quickdraw firmly enough that the draw does not fall off on the way up, while still letting you clip and release easily. Two details go beyond the basic job:
- You can thread the rope through the quickdraw while the draw is already hanging on the bolt
- You can lift the quickdraw back off the anchor
That second one is what most improvised stick clips do badly.
What is in the set

Will it fit my poles?
The set includes an adapter for exactly this reason — pole diameters vary, and the adapter is what makes the clip fit rather than assuming one size.
Can I retrieve a quickdraw with it, not just place one?
Yes. You can lift a draw back off the anchor, which is the half most stick clips do badly.
Is this as good as a dedicated stick clip?
